Dulverton Folk Festival for Next Year - A full, extended Bank Holiday Weekend

Presenting the 6th Annual FREE Traditional Music and Dance Festival

For the 6th year running we are putting on another truly spectacular FREE music and dance festival in the wonderful Gateway town to Exmoor, Dulverton. Home of the Exmoor National Park Headquarters.

When we say FREE, we really mean it! Apart from a very reasonable fee to cover the campsite costs, all events are open to everyone with no obligatory cost (we do run regular raffles, and shake collection tins during the festival because we have to raise funds somehow!) We have a modestly priced full colour programme that is available for sale now, in many shops around Dulverton, as well as being available during the festival.

The Festival is fully supported by local businesses, which enables us to book some fantastic musicians and bands and provide them for FREE. The Rusty Buckets also run raffles at the regular live music sessions throughout the year which also helps to raise funds for the festival.

Dulverton Middle School has this year been able to use the proceeds from last year’s campsite fees to purchase 5 violins for use by its pupils, as well as offering 5 pupils a term of free lessons. This has been enthusiastically taken up, with the majority of those pupils choosing to continue their violin lessons into the next term. We are looking forward to hearing what plans they have for this years camping fees.
