Regular venues from 2011 and previous years include:
| The Bridge Inn Click here for their website ![]() |
Based at the lower end of town, beside the river, The Bridge Inn has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and serves fantastic food as well as great beer! The Bridge Inn is more often than not a major session venue, with many musicians making themselves quite at home in the comfort of this comfortable pub! |
Dulverton
Town Hall![]() |
Dulvertons iconic Town Hall provided us with a fantastic venue for Breakfasts, Ceilidhs and Concerts in 2011 and we look forward to more of the same for 2012. We took the inspiration for our festival logo from the famous Town Hall Steps, which local artist Sally J Maynard immortalised in a penline drawing to enable us to create the logo; right in the centre of the town you wont be able to miss this venue! |
| The Rock House Inn Click here for their website ![]() |
The Rock House is at the top of town, they also offer great food and drink in a welcoming atmosphere. The Rock has provided another great venue for smaller concerts, and sessions during the festival Please see the sponsors page to view the adverts in their proper sizes! |
| Tong
Dam
Thai Restaurant Click here for their website ![]() |
Dulverton has gone high class with this lovely little Thai restaurant, which is able to host small outdoor sessions and storytelling. If the weather is inclement it should be noted that there is very limited space inside the restaurant and as such it can only hold a very small number of musicians for an indoor session. Please see the sponsors page to view the adverts in their proper sizes! |
| The Tantivy Click here for their website ![]() |
The Tantivy provides us with another venue for the small numbers to go and play or sing while enjoying one of their fresh cuppas from their cafe Based in the centre of town, close to the Town Hall Steps. Please see the sponsors page to view the adverts in their proper sizes! |
| Lewis's
Tearooms Click here for their website ![]() |
In the High Street you will find Lewis's Tearooms, a busy, friendly venue that enjoys hosting small groups of musicians during the festival. Please see the sponsors page to view the adverts in their proper sizes! |
| Burridge
Woods & Exmoor Lawns |
"If you go down to the woods today... " - or, perhaps more literally if you go up to the woods during the festival you may well find yourself in the midst of high tension, and thickening plots as well as the odd bit of music... as Burridge woods often provides a great backdrop for some unusual storywalks. Exmoor Lawns, beside the River Barle, is just the best place for a picnic with the towns resident Mallard population who will be delighted to be thrown a crust or few of spare bread! We're not sure if they are as appreciative of the music that also takes place on the lawns when the weather is kind, but we hope so! |
| Streets of Dulverton | No festival would be complete without the streets being filled with dancers - 2011 was no exception with some fantastic colourful displays all over town. |
